Driving Lessons for All Ages

LEARNER’S PERMIT:  Individuals at least 18 years old must attain a learners permit at the NC DMV before doing any behind the wheel lessons. Teens 15 – 17 years old must apply for a limited learner permit after completion of the Teen Driver’s Education Course before doing any driving lessons outside of the required minimum 6–hour teen requirement.

MUST COMPLETE:  Qualified candidates will successfully complete and pass a knowledge test, road sign recognition, and vision tests.
